Commercial and Industrial Floors by Industry
Every industry puts its own demands on a floor. A food plant answers to inspectors and hot washdown, a warehouse needs impact resistance and striping, a cleanroom cannot shed a particle, and a showroom lives on how it looks. Epoxy Experts builds resin floors matched to the standard each sector has to meet across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Choose your industry below to see the systems, standards and scheduling that apply to your kind of facility. If you are comparing systems first, our concrete coatings page covers every floor we install, and commercial epoxy flooring covers how we schedule and run commercial jobs.

Food, Beverage and Sanitary Facilities
Floors in these facilities face hot water, cleaning chemicals, sugars and fats every day, and most answer to an inspector.
Food and beverage
Washdown ready urethane cement for processing and packaging plants.
Commercial kitchens
Seamless, slip resistant floors built for grease and health code.
Cannabis facilities
Seamless, sanitary epoxy for licensed cultivation, processing and packaging.
Industrial, Logistics and Vehicle Floors
These floors take forklifts, hot tires, dropped parts and chemical spills, so the system is chosen for impact and abrasion first.
Warehouse and distribution
Forklift rated floors with line striping for racking and lanes.
Parkades and traffic decks
Elastomeric traffic coatings that protect structural decks from water and wear.
Clean, Clinical and Static Controlled Spaces
Where contamination or static is the risk, the floor has to be seamless, cleanable and in some cases grounded.
Cleanroom and pharmaceutical
Seamless, non shedding floors that support classification.
Healthcare and clinics
Seamless, disinfectable floors with coved bases for clinics and labs.
Electronics and ESD
Static dissipative, grounded floors for electronics production.
Retail, Showroom and Public Spaces
In a showroom the floor is part of the brand, so finish and colour matter as much as durability.
Retail and showroom
Decorative flake, quartz and metallic finishes that hold their look.
Polished concrete
For retail floors, offices and warehouses where the slab is sound, a densified and polished floor has no coating to wear through.
See the Work
Our project case studies show these systems in working facilities, including a pharmaceutical production floor in Richmond, a restaurant kitchen recoat in Vancouver and a seamless epoxy floor at TRIUMF.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which floor system is right for my facility?
It depends on what the floor has to handle. Washdown and hot water usually point to urethane cement, forklift traffic to a high build epoxy, and static control to an ESD system. We confirm it after a site walkthrough and moisture test.
Can you work around our operating hours?
Yes. We schedule commercial and industrial work on nights and weekends and can phase large floors so part of the facility stays open.
Do you handle coved bases and drains?
Yes. We install trowelled coves where walls meet the floor and slope or detail around drains in wet areas.
Not Sure Which Applies?
Tell us about your facility and we will point you to the right system and give you a straight quote after a walkthrough.
