About the Scholarship
Epoxy Experts is committed to supporting the next generation of skilled professionals in trades, construction, engineering, and business. Our Epoxy Experts Future Trades & Business Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students at Simon Fraser University (SFU), Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), and the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) who are passionate about their field and eager to make a meaningful impact in their industry.
Award Amount: $500
Number of Recipients: 3
Application Deadline: August 1st, 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must:
✅ Be a full-time or part-time student at SFU, KPU, or BCIT.
✅ Be enrolled in a program related to trades, construction management, engineering, business, or a relevant discipline.
✅ Demonstrate a strong passion for their industry through academic work, projects, or hands-on experience.
✅ Submit all required materials by the application deadline.
How to Apply:
Applicants must submit the following:
1️⃣ A portfolio or project submission
- Showcase a project, case study, or hands-on work related to your field.
- This could be a construction or trade project, a business proposal, an engineering model, or any other real-world demonstration of your skills and knowledge.
- Submissions may include written documentation, photos, or other supporting materials.
3️⃣ A 3-5 minute video submission
- In this video, applicants must introduce themselves, explain their passion for their chosen field, and discuss their career goals and vision for the industry.
- Creativity, clarity, and enthusiasm will be key factors in evaluation.
4️⃣ A resume
- Outline relevant academic and work experience, as well as extracurricular involvement.
5️⃣ A reference letter (optional but encouraged)
- A letter from a professor, employer, or mentor supporting the applicant’s dedication and potential in their field.
