Epoxy Experts is an epoxy and resinous flooring contractor based at 5515 Boundary Road in Vancouver. We have installed more than 1,000 floors across Metro Vancouver, from two car garages in Kitsilano and Burnaby to food production floors, parkades and research facilities, and we hold a 5.0 rating across 136 Google reviews.
We install epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane cement and traffic coating systems across Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, New Westminster, Delta and Langley.
The People Who Do the Work
Gary is the founder and CEO of Epoxy Experts. He still leads our installation crews and is the person most customers deal with on site, from answering questions before the job starts to walking the finished floor with you. Navi and Kuldeep are installers on the crew, and they are the names that come up most often in our reviews for turning up on time and staying late to finish when rain is coming.
Every floor we install is done by our own crew. Most flooring companies in the Lower Mainland sub work out once they are booked past capacity, which means the person who quoted your floor is often not the person installing it. The people who grind your slab and roll your topcoat work for us, we know exactly what went down on your floor, and that is why we can put a written warranty behind it.
What Our Warranty Covers
Residential garage floors carry a 15 year written warranty against peeling and delamination, covering up to 1,000 square feet. Metallic floors carry 5 years. Commercial and industrial floors carry 3 years, covering up to 5,000 square feet. Exterior surfaces carry 1 year, and self levelling concrete carries a 1 year labour only workmanship warranty. Where a polyaspartic base and topcoat are used on garage, commercial or exterior work, yellowing is covered as well.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser once the project is paid in full, and the slab must be ground to a CSP 2 profile for full coverage. It does not cover cracks, joints or crack repair, moisture or hydrostatic pressure from the slab, chemical damage, or wear from forklifts, pallet jacks and other wheeled traffic. Labour for inspection and repair is included in the first year. Ask us for the full written warranty before you book.
Work We Have Delivered
Herbaland’s nutraceutical plant in Richmond took a solid epoxy system over a moisture vapour barrier across more than 10,000 square feet of production, packaging and dishwashing space. TRIUMF, Canada’s national particle accelerator centre in Vancouver, took a seamless grey two coat epoxy floor with a four inch trowelled cove. BC Ferries in Richmond took a 100% solids two coat system, delivered as coating subcontractor to Bird Construction Group. The stairway at the Costco on Expo Boulevard took a Mudstone hybrid flake system across 24 treads, 26 risers and two landings. Full write-ups are on our projects page.
Flake systems start at $6 per square foot, solid colour is $7 and metallic runs $10 to $15. Commercial, warehouse and parkade floors are quoted per project after a site visit, and every quote is a fixed price once we have seen the floor.
